Following the succesful first IEF meeting held on 23d and 24th of January 2009 in The Hague, the second meeting is scheduled for the 26th and 27th of June in Amsterdam. Venue: the Law Faculty of the University of Amsterdam (Oudemanhuispoort 4-6).

The working groups are expected to present their tentative findings, based on either horizontal approach to the subject-matter (an overview of the Law and Practice in International Criminal Procedure) or vertical approach (in-depth examination of a chosen specific research subject as per the agreed uniform methodology). In contrast to the first meeting where organisational matters were discussed, IEF-II will be the conference with a primary focus on substantive issues.
