Mr. Anjaneya Das, a student at Nalsar University of Law located in Hyderabad, India, has been awarded a scholarship by the Hague Institute for the Internationalisatoin of Law (HiiL) to attend the Final Conference of the International Criminal Procedure Expert Framework. Mr. Anjaneya Das was awarded this scholarship as a result of his participation in the 2011 International Criminal Law Network ICC Trial competition where he was the recipient of the Best Oralist Award. The conference will mark the announcement on the pioneering 'General rules and principles of international criminal procedure' developed as a result of an international research project funded by HiiL. It will take place on Thursday and Friday 27 and 28 October at the Peace Palace in The Hague.
